The log sort yard was created in 1995 to fully utilize and increase the value of the timber that comes off of the Yakama Indian Nation.
Below you will see a Letourneau taking a load of logs that came off of one of our timber sales.

The logs are then rolled out in the grading yard and sorted by grade and diameter. Some of the logs will find their way onto a ship bound for Japan. Others may end up being trucked to some of our competitor's yards. The 6" to 12" log will stay and be utilized at our hew saw mill.

Here are some of the logs that we are decking to be used at our hew mill.
