Interest in Yakama Ponderosa Pine shop and moulding as well as commons has been incredible. The majority of the industry is well aware of the fact that some of the highest quality ponderosa pine logs come off of the Yakama Nation timber lands. The Yakama tribe has never clear cut and has always practiced selective harvesting ever since the first timber was commercially cut in the late 1940's.

OUR QC PERSON AND LEAD GRADER USE TO GRADE FOR THE OLD WHITE SWAN SAWMILL WHICH WAS A PINE CUTTING MILL THAT SHUT DOWN IN 1989. WE ALSO HAVE A RETIRED A.L.S. INSPECTOR WORKING WITH US AS A CONSULTANT ON OUR PON PINE RUNS AND HE IS HELPING US GRADE THE PINE TO ENSURE THAT WE HAVE A PREMIUM QUALITY PRODUCT FOR OUR CUSTOMERS.
